Finding it hard to accept the relationships surrounding you? Try this simple technique!

Do you have people around you that you don’t like or even hate? Maybe you think they’re really bad—calling someone a narcissist, saying another is selfish, or just believing their character is terrible. Maybe you feel like they’re always lying. If you’re finding it hard to accept the relationships surrounding you, you’re not alone.

It’s simple to label someone as ‘not good,’ but have you ever delved into their story? The underlying reasons for their behavior often run much deeper.

Yes, it’s challenging to deal with such individuals. However, it’s also our responsibility to safeguard our mental peace, especially if these types of people are around, isn’t it?

Consider even the most notorious figures in history, like Hitler. If you delve into their backstory, you’ll often find reasons that shed light on how their mindset developed.

Consider a bad time in your own life when you felt dissatisfied with yourself, your character, and your actions. These feelings often emerge without your awareness.

Don’t you have a personal backstory that only you know? Likewise, everyone has their own unique story that shapes who they are.

People’s personalities and behaviors can be influenced by factors they didn’t choose, like their genes or their experiences growing up.

For example, someone might inherit certain traits from their parents or face difficult situations during childhood that shape who they become. These things are beyond their control, so it’s not fair to blame them for how they turn out.

TOKEN OF KINDNESS

Here’s a simple technique to help maintain your mental peace and stability despite any actions from those relationships. It’s called the token of kindness method.

The Token of Kindness method suggests a simple approach to improving relationships: take a moment to think about why the person behaves the way they do.

You can ask them directly or try to imagine their perspective. Understanding where they’re coming from might help mend the relationship.

Think about it—nobody sets out to live their life by bad values or ethics on purpose, do they?

They end up like that because of a whole bunch of things that happen to them along the way. It’s not like they chose it consciously. It’s more like they were born and raised in a way that led their minds to think that way.

Remember, this isn’t about being overly generous to others; it’s about improving your mental well-being and training your mind toward positivity.

When you can create space in your mind to understand why they behave and act the way they do, especially through kindness, you’re taking the first step towards transforming your mindset.

This shift can greatly enhance the quality of your mental health.

This will help you accept the people around you. I don’t mean to accept all the notorious people in this world.

At least to be in peace within our relationships, this technique of kindness will help to change our mindset and enhance our own lives.

Starting today, if you are facing problems in your relationships that you cannot avoid, practice this method of kindness and shift your mind to the next version.
